For starters, this unit has the potential to be the best Blu-Ray out there right now for the price. With a built-in wireless connectivity, streaming, Netflix, YouTube, media center functions, etc, etc, etc … BUT out of the box, in a certain number of minutes, the unit will freeze and then shut down. This problem occurs at regular intervals during the viewing of films, both Blu-ray, standard-definition DVDs or streaming of Netflix. I contacted support and they made me send for assistance. The unit is back and they put me again. Within a minute to see a movie in standard definition, it froze and stopped. I reboot the machine and 11 minutes and 26 seconds, the machine freezes and turns off. I contact support the next morning, and have the courage to tell me that there's nothing wrong with the device. In my opinion, if the device freezes and turns off while watching a film there is something wrong with the device.

Bought the OPPO and have not looked back. BD awesome and it's nice to be able to play some of my new SACD from my old drive is dead.
The player and the company are pending. This thing has been solid since I set it up. No problem …….. period. OPPO my questions answered quickly.
Some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. Never thought I would spend $ 500 for a player, but it was a bargin. I highly recommend this product!

It took me a while 'to buy a Blueray player. I have a large collection of DVDs and have used an up-comvert player for the past year. This player has a great picture and sound are very satisfied with the purchase.

I went to this player from a previous Samsung model. I almost turned to Samsung Blu-ray at all, with its endless problems with playing Blu-ray.

By contrast, this game a delight.

It 'been very quick to configure. Connect the power (which, unlike many players, is a detachable power cord. This means that if you're jamming the cable through a hole with a bunch of other cables, like me, it's easy because you have to get the plug to pass through the hole, only the smaller end of the cable). Connected an HDMI cable. Connected to a cable network.

Now that Blu-Ray DVD players are finally affordable, watching high-definition movies on your HD television at your home is now a realistic possibility. When you think about it, HD DVDs were the one thing that were missing. You’ve got the great high-definition television, home theater sound, and the comfy couch or chairs, but when time comes to watch a movie, it’s low-definition on that HD setup. What a shame, but no longer!
