Just got my player today and I want to do about what I've seen so far with this DVD player
Pro
1) excellent sound quality, especially for music. My home theater system (Marantz ZR6001 and speakers Connoiseurs energy) back to life. This Panny even beat my high end Denon DVD player in the sound quality. LOVE IT !!!!!!
2) the image quality for playback of Blu-ray.
3) The control of remote users friednly.
4) load times faster, as no one else has said.
CONS:
1) The improvement is not terrible compared with my Samsung 1080P8 upscaling and my Denon DVD player, but exceptionally well.
2) did not play some DVDs, I updated the latest firmware, but still having problems with my gel and can not read some DVDs.
If you plan to use the device only for read-only Blu-ray, then it is the best and for you, but if you have lots of DVD collection of old and plan to use this device as an upscaling player, you may want to think about twice before buying this Pany.
My main purpose of this purchase is for the Panny Blu-ray and music. So far, the best player I "ve ever owned.
